Full Moon, June 13, 2014

On Friday June 13th, 2014, there is a full moon. This has only happened nine times in the last 111 years, and will not happen again until 2049. In the world of Wicca, this is a very special day.

Why is it a special day? Well let me tell you.

We consider this a very magical day. Even though for some people this may be considered bad luck, it is actually great day of power for healing spells.

Also to consider; there are 13 lunar cycles every year, and we celebrate each and every one with a special ritual. Also, the ancient Egyptians associated the number 13 with immortality.

For those who are looking for a perfect  day for healing spells, next Friday night will be perfect!
